Last updated: April 14, 2026

1. Introduction

Maison Property Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use and safeguard it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you provide directly. When you contact us, request a valuation, book a showing, save searches, or submit a form, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, postal address, property preferences, budget, timeline, and any message content.
  • Transactional information. If you engage our real estate services, we may collect information required to complete a transaction, such as government-issued identification for identity verification where required by law.
  • Usage and device information. When you visit our website, we automatically collect information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, pages viewed, listings viewed, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See Section 5 below.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide the services you request;
  • Show you relevant property listings and market information;
  • Send you transactional messages, and — where you have opted in — market updates, newsletters, and listing alerts you can unsubscribe from at any time;
  • Improve and personalize our website and services;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues;
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations, including those under Canadian real estate legislation and anti-money-laundering rules.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:

  • Our brokerage and team. Information is shared with authorized agents and staff at Avenue North Realty Inc. who need it to serve you.
  • MLS® and real estate systems. In the course of a listing or transaction, certain information may be shared with the local real estate board, the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), and other MLS® participants, as required by those systems and governing rules.
  • Service providers. We use trusted third parties for website hosting, email delivery, customer-relationship management, analytics, mapping, and similar functions. They may access personal information only to perform services for us and are contractually required to protect it.
  • Legal and regulatory disclosures. We may disclose information to comply with a subpoena, court order, or applicable law, to cooperate with regulators or law enforcement, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and understand how our site is used. These fall into a few broad categories:

  • Essential — required for the site to function (e.g., form submission, security).
  • Functional — remember settings and preferences.
  • Analytics — help us understand usage patterns so we can improve the site.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect parts of the site.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to maintain our business records, and to comply with legal, regulatory, and professional retention requirements. When personal information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access and correction. Request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct inaccuracies.
  • Withdraw consent. Withdraw your consent to our use of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
  • Marketing opt-out. Unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. We comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
  • Complaints. If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including MLS® systems, mortgage calculators, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
